Treboles and Key is a unique Vodka that is the truest in the Field-to-Table market. I plant, grow, harvest and distill organic potatoes and corn on the family farm. There is no other distiller in the world that is a Certified Organic Planter and Certified Organic Handler in both potato and corn. Both Certifications require strict compliance and inspections.
I start with certified Organic potato and corn seed. Through the growing process, I rototill each row, remove all the weeds around every plant and inspect/remove pests by hand. Every corn stalk and potato plant passes through my hands many times during the growing season. More importantly, no pesticides or herbicides are ever used on my fields. The final result of this hard work and attention to detail is a taste and smoothness unlike any vodka on the market today.
Our potatoes are grown and distilled on the family farm, in fields that have passed a meticulous inspection. In addition to being a certified organic grower, we are also a certified organic handler. These unique distinctions are what separates our vodka from all others. At Treboles and Key, organic is not just a word I put on the bottle, it’s a way of life.
David Lee Meisenburg, The Gentleman Farmer
I am distilling this year’s crop of organic potatoes until December which will be under the name Treboles and Key Organic Vodka. Approximately 600 to 700 bottles will be distilled and each bottle will be signed, numbered and have its own gift box. Starting in January of 2018, I will be distilling organic corn under the name Corazon and Key Organic Vodka. I expect a production of 6,000 to 7,000 bottles.
